Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor adventure that is happening all the time, all around the world. Even at Scoggins Valley Park!
To play, participants use the Geocaching app and/or a GPS device to navigate to cleverly hidden containers called geocaches. To find them, you'll need to utilize the official geocaching.com app or website.
Park staff have hidden caches throughout Scoggins Valley Park. Each cache contains a bounty of treasures. From time to time, the treasures may include something extra special, as well. While treasure hunting, pay careful attention to all hints and directions. A few things to know: Take a Treasure, Leave a Treasure. Leave no trace and dress appropriately.
