Washington County Sheriff Office Marine Patrol: Working to keep you safe Washington County Parks has a long-standing partnership with the Marine Patrol, a Sheriff’s Patrol Division special team. With 2 full-time positions, and nearly a dozen part-time or fill-in positions, the Marine Patrol promotes safety on shore and on the water. Among the many duties they perform, deputies ensure that each vessel contains life jackets, fire extinguishers, and sound devices.
