It might be cold and rainy, but there's plenty to explore at Scoggins Valley Park. Winter is a quieter time at the lake, and on any given day you will find anglers casting from the shoreline (water levels are on the rise!) and drifting peacefully on the glassy waters.

Bikers and hikers can explore the trails that loop the lake, or ride on designated paved bike lane. With the rains, the creeks that feed into the lake are gushing, and plenty of "mini waterfalls" can be spotted on the trail, along with herons, hawks, and ducks.

Our covered picnic areas provide a scenic lunch spot, and our disc golf course is open rain or shine.

Come on out for a meditative stroll, to observe wildlife, or for that daily catch! Our annual parking passes make great gifts for friends and family who enjoy the outdoors. Stop by our Park Office, open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, to purchase one (or two) today.
