New Reservation System is LIVE

Washington County Parks is now using ActiveNet for program and facility reservations! We are excited to offer booking requests for our various reservable spaces, and registration for recreational programs. Visit our reservations page to learn more about booking a pavilion, hall or picnic area. To register for an activity, check out our recreation program page.  Please note, you will be prompted to sign up for an ActiveNet account. We recommend one primary account per household - additional family members can be added to the head of household account. 

Earth Day Guided Hike

Saturday, April 22 at 10 AM Free - Registration Closed - Space is limited Celebrate Earth Day while enjoying and observing the changes that Spring brings to the forest. Join WashCo Parks on a guided hike with Oregon Master Naturalist Natalie DaSilva. Learn about the park's geology, plants, history, and more while hiking along the lake trail, starting at Dam Overlook Trailhead.  Walking distance will be approximately 2 miles.  All ages welcome. StoryWalk at Hagg Lake

Come out to Hagg Lake for a hike and story!  A StoryWalk® is a hike in a natural area that features the pages of a storybook mounted along the trail. This winter, Washington County Parks will be featuring the picture book "The Hike" by local author Alison Farrell. The half-mile hike begins at the trailhead of Cedar Grove (#32), and is a family-friendly activity for all ages. Guided Forest Walk

Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 10 am REGISTRATION CLOSED! Thanks to the overwhelming response, this walk is full. Event is free. Parking passes required for vehicles. Join us in the New Year for a guided forest walk with Master Naturalist Natalie DaSilva.  Explore and learn about the park's geology, plants, history, and more!  Discover what birds and animals spend the winter here. Swim Workshops at Hagg Lake

Washington County Parks is excited to partner with WaterStrong Initiative, along with Beaverton Hoop YMCA, Metro and Black Swimming Initiative to provide three Eco-Swim Workshops at Hagg Lake. The free, one-hour workshops will be held on Mondays at C-Ramp. Participants can sign up for either of the following dates, Aug. 15, 22, 29 from 7 – 8 pm. New Heron Mural at Hagg Lake

Washington County Parks unveils a new mural at Scoggins Valley Park/Hagg Lake. The Hagg Lake Heron is the first public art project for Parks, and was completed in June 2022. It depicts a blue heron in flight. Local artist, Liam McLaughlin of Forest Grove, painted the mural located at Scoggins Valley Outfitters, the kayak/SUP board rental operation at the C-Ramp Recreation Area. “My love for nature and the outdoors is a central component to my artistic work,” says McLaughlin, who has been living in Forest Grove since 2007 and visits the lake often with his family. “We are thrilled to bring…
